So, how do we think we will line up?

I'd like to see Can/someone in midfield and all four of Sturridge, Lallana, Firmino and Coutinho starting. Swap Clyne for Moreno and we're set.

Flanagan isn't eligible so Clyne and Moreno must start

I'd play Milner at RB and Clyne at LB.

Coutinho and Sturridge must start surely.

What has Sturridge done in the few games he's played in? Origi to start for me.

Consistently shown he's a proven goal scorer, match winner and about two levels above the green, inexperienced, unproven Origi.

crazy talk.

Sturridge to start. Play strongest XI. Though maybe bench Henderson who is clearly struggling right now

Mignolet

Clyne-Lovren-Toure-Moreno

Can-Milner

Lallana-Firmino-Coutinho

Sturridge

Origi is a weird one, some posters are getting a bit over excited about him, I'm still not seeing much apart from willingness to run

Like his effort but he doesn't look like scoring much. No question sturridge starts this.

In the first 20 minutes.

Ideally

Would you take a 2-1 win now?

If I try to think objectively then yes, sure. But I really want the tie to be beyond their reach at Anfield. Losing this doesn't bear thinking about.

There's no way it will be beyond their reach. That's not how these things work.

same here at the moment. Sturridge is one of the best 2 or 3 strikers in the premiership

Gotta be Clyne and Flanagan as full backs surely

s***, just realised Flanagan can't play. b******s. Moreno!!

I hope we lose 2-1 rather than draw 0-0.

Yeah I'd have a bit of that too.

Give the team a clear shot 2nd leg, I'm not sure we've got the game intelligence to do much else.

Martial is their main threat so I wouldn't be shifting Clyne away from RB

yep. and perhaps milner on the right for us as well. long as his head doesn't fall off like it did yesterday.
