épieur Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Jermaine Pennant - I always liked watching him play - Good movement, intelligent and creative for a winger. Couldn't cross for toffee and had few goals in him, but he was a player who wanted attacking responsibility and didn't shy away from carrying the creative burden.

honourablegeorge Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Just started a Wigan game with the latest data update on CM01/02. Jermaine Pennant is shocked I don't consider him a first team regular. Albert Riera. +1 Riera - gave us shape, which made us a better side.
honourablegeorge Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Harry Kewell I think everyone rated Harry Kewell, just hat he was f***ed from injury
sangria Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Mike Marsh was one of my favourites. Always felt there was something about him that epitomised a Liverpool player, but didn't know what it was as I didn't understood enough about football at the time. Someone later explained to me that he had quick feet and good balance. I always remembered him filling in everywhere on the pitch.
StevieC Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Le Tallec. Convinced there was a genius in there somewhere.
Swipe Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Steve Staunton, first time around Was he not that rated? I was very young but remember thinking he was good when he first came.
dave Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Not a player that I rated but I thought that Tony Nunez showed promise. This was based on seeing about 2 minutes of training footage. I MAY have said that he had something of Ray Kennedy about him...I know...
Hassony Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 I thought Dossena did well for us on occasions, especially at left midfield, don't think he was as bad as some remember him to be
Noel Street Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Jermaine Pennant intelligent? Well I never, anyway Alan Irvine
pipnasty Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Mark Wright - decent player. Wouldn't say I was the only one who rated him like but I'm not sure that many did cos of the s***eness of the team he was in.
PhilM Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Mark Wright - decent player. Wouldn't say I was the only one who rated him like but I'm not sure that many did cos of the s****ness of the team he was in. Agreed, but I don't rate his views on race.
autumn319 Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 djimi traore and salif diao. These guys were not able to pass the ball but were defending quite well...(well not in the CL final , but against average teams)
