Liverpool Half Marathon - 29 May

Lads, Ladies ...

 

Two of my six brothers are doing the Liverpool Rock n Roll Half at the end of May, and if I can rouse myself from 9 months of inactivity I might join them. They've done multiple halfs and a few full Marathons, I've done about 8 halfs, but not run at all for best part of a year, so I'd need to get back to C25K, I reckon.

 

Anyway - Have any of you lot done it?

What's the course like?

Is it a pain in the a*** having bands at every mile or is it good craic?

What's the nearest boozer to the finish line?
