Mcafee keeps stopping me accessing Internet

I got a new laptop today and it had Mcafee antivirus pre installed.

 

Trouble is it keeps saying there is an issue with the security certificate of pretty much every website including Gmail etc and won't let me access it, it does this even if I switch the firewall off briefly.

 

I'm actually trying to access my email to be able to download Norton antivirus and get rid of mcafee.

 

Any help appreciated.
