Conrad Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 Thought I'd better start a match thread since the last one I did was City Right, let's put this run behind us. Perfect game to be playing right now and I expect us to be fully up for it. Leicester are due a defeat, and they are getting one here. I hope to God Mignolet is fit to play. If so, and assuming our one great striker is still out, I'd go: MignoletClyne-Skertl-Lovren-MorenoHenderson-MilnerIbe-Coutinho-LallanaBenteke
Conrad Posted December 21, 2015 Author Posted December 21, 2015 Lovren is out isn't he?think he's back in training but you might be right
fred milne Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 I'd go with something like this:MignoletClyne-Skrtel-Sakho-MorenoHenderson-Lucas-CanIbe-CoutinhoBenteke
Bogman Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 Skittles I doubt will be seen over the festive period having done a hammy.
smithdown Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 Origi looks the most likely but it's really down to who promises to do what they are f*cking told who doesn't think they've already done the hard work. And everyone's gonna be bladdered and kicking off so yano fingers out and get stuck in. b*****ds.
yellow jumper Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 know they've had a few comebacks, but my sense is they can tire against possession sides; pretty poor manc side caused them increasing problems just with that fairly passive keep ball. arsenal did them 2-5 with a quicker more incisive version of it. chelsea went 3 at back after going two down and caused them all sorts. i've been thinking two up front is the way forward, but might consider packing midfield for this and preach control.
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 really looking forward to this.....
Billy Dane Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 I'm looking forward to it, good to see the top teams at Anfield at Christmas....
Romario Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 I'd be chuffed with a draw at home to these.
Hassony Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 I'd be chuffed with a draw at home to these. you'd take a draw now? I think we will see a massive reaction and beat these 4-0
Romario Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 you'd take a draw now? I think we will see a massive reaction and beat these 4-0yeah I would. I have no idea what our style is ( seems the players don't either) and where goals are meant to be coming from. We are crap at home and Leicester are exactly the kind of team we struggle against.
Hassony Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 I know they're top of the table and all, but taking a draw before the game against Leicester is mental, they're f***ing Leicester
Bogman Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 I'd be more surprised if there isn't a reaction . I'm expecting a blitzkrieg. But I've been wrong before.
Romario Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 I'm seeing nothing over the last 3 games to suggest its just bad luck. I genuinely have no idea what way we are trying to play. I also have no idea whatsoever as to what way we are trying to score. The only plus is I think we'll find it hard to play worse than we did on Sunday.
Cam Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 GoalieClyne Henderson Sakho MorenoIbe Lucas Coutinho SmithBenteke Origi Go 442, get width & pace out wide, cross, tell Henderson he is Beckenbauer, shove a remote-control vibrating love egg up Benteke's ass & tell him it works by running around.

Romario Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 still upset that Rodgers got sacked?Just upset at how crap we are. Like crapper than I could have imagined.
Walrus Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 4-4 this will beNo strikers as they're all s*** anyway?
DJS Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 I hope I'm wrong but I think I can see the script here. Loads of men behind the ball, we struggle to make things happen apart from passing it left to right and vice versa, but not into real wide areas & slowly, so as not to exploit any areas of space which may briefly open up. We'll stick to central areas, trying to thread needles with 9 blue shirts between the ball & their goal. They'll break 4 or 5 times and score once or twice from these breaks. Maybe throw in a set piece goal for them too. Just looked at the odds for this. We're just about odds-on at 19/20. Leicester are 11/4 and so is the draw. I find those prices astonishing.

dorgie Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 If Vardy is out, we might have a chance. Otherwise, it could be very similar to Watford
