There's a worry of complacency here.

They're dead s*** and we've been dead good, but we've only won 1 in 5 of our last visits there.

Would be typical Newcastle to concede 8 goals in 2 games and then raise their game for us.

i think we could be helped by the fact that it's probably going to be half a new team. both physically obviously, and mentally. there's a big competition for places thing going on here too. and they've got serious problems defensively, manager hanging by a thread, if at all. i'm usually fairly cautious, but pretty hard to see anything but a liverpool win here.

Me.

I'll be getting there about 12.30 Sunday, then staying over.

You know a preferred venue for pre (or even post) match drinking?

yep. if we score early we could run up a bundle here. they've got no backbone at all and mclaren looks like a deer in the headlights.

Attitude under previous managers might have been an issue, and still could be, in terms of over confidence or blase 'these are shyte, we just need to show up' thoughts. But I think we'll be fine

If Coutinho is fit I reckon we go the man city front three. But Ibe definitely deserves consideration

Only amongst fans I expect.

Or even better/worse, concede. :D

Guardian stat on that is encouraging.

Since start of last season, 29 games went behind and lost 20 of them, since Klopp gone behind 5 and lost one.

I think he'll go with that side. Might start Firmino and have Sturridge off the bench

We were confident before that game they had a player sent off and we still couldn't win but we're a better team now. Would be a massive kick in the knackers if we lost.

@TheAnfieldWrap

Klopp press pc :

- Coutinho unlikely for Sunday

- Sturridge fine

- wouldn't worry about being unchanged for Newcastle

- confident of win
