Cobs Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Mig Clyne Skrtel Lovren Moreno Milner Lucas Hendo Lallana Sturridge Coutinho (or Firmino if he's not fit) SubsBogdan, Benteke and some others
Stevie H Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 think he might rest lallana this one and start ibe on the right. big pitch at newcastle, ibe's pace could be fun.
Cunny Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 I wouldn't be surprised if it is a completely different front 3.Benteke, Firmino and Coutinho (if fit)
Sion Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 There's a worry of complacency here. They're dead s*** and we've been dead good, but we've only won 1 in 5 of our last visits there.Would be typical Newcastle to concede 8 goals in 2 games and then raise their game for us.

RP Posted December 4, 2015 Author Posted December 4, 2015 Me. I'll be getting there about 12.30 Sunday, then staying over. You know a preferred venue for pre (or even post) match drinking?

McBain Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Attitude under previous managers might have been an issue, and still could be, in terms of over confidence or blase 'these are shyte, we just need to show up' thoughts. But I think we'll be fine If Coutinho is fit I reckon we go the man city front three. But Ibe definitely deserves consideration
Cisse Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 I wouldn't be surprised if it is a completely different front 3.Benteke, Firmino and Coutinho (if fit)Very likely!!
Barnesy_10 Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 I'd keep Coutinho on the bench and only bring him on if we can't break them down.

smithdown Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Or even better/worse, concede. Guardian stat on that is encouraging. Since start of last season, 29 games went behind and lost 20 of them, since Klopp gone behind 5 and lost one.
Conrad Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Mig Clyne Skrtel Lovren Moreno Milner Lucas Hendo Lallana Sturridge Coutinho (or Firmino if he's not fit) I think he'll go with that side. Might start Firmino and have Sturridge off the bench
The_Adder Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 I'd keep Coutinho on the bench and only bring him on if we can't break them down. But if he is fully fit you just start him right?
JonnyBrad Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Barcodes forum seems to think they might lose by 10. No room for complacency though. If we score early they will fold but we need to get the job done.
muleskinner Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Jurgen got McLaren sacked from Wolfsburg last time they played didn't he?
Earl Hafler Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 We were confident before that game they had a player sent off and we still couldn't win but we're a better team now. Would be a massive kick in the knackers if we lost.
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 used to be that we'd town them there & it was the most fun game of the season. Recently we can't buy a win hardly. Let's revert to the days of the Owen hattrick
Swipe Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 @TheAnfieldWrap Klopp press pc : - Coutinho unlikely for Sunday- Sturridge fine- wouldn't worry about being unchanged for Newcastle- confident of win
rednotdead Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Looks like no Coutinho according to Klopp in the presser
