So our company has decided to close our office in London and move the services back to Sa, they have given me my notice letter (5 months in accordance with my contract) which will take me to end of March, at the end of that I'm sure a compensation package in line with my contract

 

Anyway, I have another job offer at the moment that would like me to start as soon as possible (early January)

 

Two questions for now, can the company force me to serve out my notice period and would I be entitled to severance package or part of it if I leave early?
