I'll go first

1. Mignolet will be replaced in January

2. Liverpool will sign Kagawa

3. Lallana will be sold

4. Gomez will start at CB

5. Benteke will start ahead of Sturridge as striker

Can't see keeper being changed in Jan. When we get CL at end of season, we'll take lloris from Spurs.

I reckon markovic gets recalled, lallana gets canned and major changes in the middle.

I think he'll get sakho and lovren in and drop skrtel by end of season.

Between now and January it's going to be mighty.

The players know he is a quality manager, they will all be busting a gut to impress him before January comes round so you would expect our performances to lift massively.

Guys you all have just under 3 months show me what you got........go impress me.

Henderson, when fit, will benefit.

Firminio and Coutinho, too.

Milner's workrate will be useful but wasn't Klopp's Dortmund midfield all about uber-quick transition from defence to attack? Killer passes up to the no.10 and the strikers. I only say this because someone once posted a video on here years ago when we were fantasising about getting a manager of his calibre. Do you have Milner and Hendo as the deep midfielders?

How many strikers did he use at Dortmund? Just the one up top wasn't it?

In short, I haven't got a f*cking clue what he'll do.

Kagawa wouldn't surprise me at all. Klopp loves him and he publicly bemoaned the way the Mancs used him.

We gots two No.10's though.

Every single player in our squad should be s***ting themselves tonight, and rightly so. Wheat and chaff will be separated pretty quickly I think.

Hopefully they're just feeling excited and motivated, like.

True. Can he play as a proper striker/winger? I still haven't seen him that much.

Anyway, saw a tweet yesterday. Think it was quoting a Barrett piece; said the club will change strategy to buying two or three significant singings per window as concerned about the turnover under Rodgers.

That'll do me.

Firmino right, Coutinho left, Sturridge off Benteke, Hendo through the middle with someone more defensive alongside him. Sturidge making those clever diagonal runs which allow Firmino and Coutinho to cut inside

I think Coutinho was more effective in 13/14 because he was often starting from wide of centre. Since then it's been mostly central with fewer attacking players around him and he's easier to mark.

I am with you on 1, 3 and 5. Maybe even 4.

He tried to sign Benteke to replace Lewandowski but was priced out. Him not having been priced out of coming here a year later must be a bit nice for him.

Conspiracy theory alert: perhaps the TC knew this and bought Benteke on Klopps advice ;)

Firmino is the one I'm most excited about. Klopp probably knows him better than anyone on the committee that signed him. Will be interesting to see what he can get out of him. I reckon he'll be a key player for us under Klopp. As Hassony pointed out last night, he did try and sign him for Dortmund.

Benteke is another player Dortmund wanted to sign when Lewandowski left, so it'll be intersting to see how he accommodates everyone if Sturridge can stay fit.

A bit hard to see a place for timid players like Allen, Lallana, Markovic, Mignolet etc in "heavy metal football" but we might be surprised at what Klopp can get out of players.

Don't see why Lallana would be such a bad fit. He won't start though.

Lallana is the anti-thesis of one-touch football and quick transitions. He's no better for dwelling too long on the ball now than when he joined.

Kagawa wouldn't surprise me at all. Klopp loves him and he publicly bemoaned the way the Mancs used him.

It'd surprise me given that he bemoaned him playing on the wing and we've already got too many in his position.

he played a 442 at times with dortmund. issue in doing that here would be the midfield i think, although you could conceivably use milner/henderson off one wing to strengthen that area.

Yeah and I think he'll do it here sometimes, with Sturridge off Benteke. Won't always be 4-2-3-1.

I think he might try Milner in the deeper role but he'll be investing in a better holding mid than Lucas.

Lucas form this season has been really underrated. He's as good as he has ever been at the moment.

Seen plenty of moments where he's jogging back because he can't keep pace with the opposition. He's decent but no better.

A higher back line will help him.

Kagawa is tainted unfortunately, and I'm not sure he is good enough to get past that.

Imagine the fume if we got him and he was boss though.

Most Mancs were desperate for him to play more.

He's slow, gets tired easily and takes loads of time on the ball.

Players like Coutinho, Can and Sturridge will need to move the ball quicker than they do currently.
