I need to submit a csv to my company's pension provider. So I need to include social security numbers.

The report I can get has the SSN formatted xxx-xx-xxxx but the provider needs without the '-'.

I can do text to columns & a concatenate to get a 9 digit string but when I save, any SSNs that begin with a '0' become 8 rather than 9 digits which f***s it all up.

If I do this in Excel & save as text & copy, paste special, the csv still eliminates the leading 0.

Any ideas what I do to get consistent 9 digit SSNs regardless of whether they start with a 0 or other digit?
