So it looks like they have been manipulating their admissions in Europe as well. If they are doing it you have to suspect other manufacturers are. How have they got away with it for so long, surely a device should be relatively easy to detect in test conditions? Have the regulators in Europe known about it and turned a blind eye as they are so wedded to diesel engines to meet their CO2 targets?

 

Could get very messy this.
