Career change...

Anyone ever made a career change? I am in my late 30's and after 16 years making video games I am now thinking of a change.

The industry is very fragile and after an opportunity has come up and looking like having to move away from the family to continue in this industry I need to make a decision. I am doing freelance currently but I want a permanent role maybe doing something different. Just dunno where to start as all my experience is in art and graphics and design. Would like to remain creative as that's where I thrive. Just not got a clue where to start. Guess am hitting a crossroads really. Want to stay in Liverpool or north west ideally.
