Murphman Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Anybody done it, and specifically is it behind glass for the game, these are proper club sponsor seats? I've got an invite to the Villa game, I did this at Coventry a few years back and it was behind glass which was terrible, I'm hoping the seats are in the Centenary but it would be rude to ask the person who's got me and my son in?
Billy Dane Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Don't think they have any seats behind glass at Anfield now. The boxes all have open air balconies with seats and the centenary is all open.

It has a balcony where you can stand and see plus has seating behind the balcony, you will be at the balcony i suppose
Murphman Posted August 24, 2015 Author Posted August 24, 2015 This sounds great, so long as I don't do what I did last time i.e. get b****xed drunk (I was led astray). My contact asked me who my sons favourite player is, I told her Coutinho but that he's probably slightly older than him and isn't exactly an excited kid. My son's reaction when I told him this would suggest that he is in fact still a kid.
kop205 Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Think there is still a bigger lounge at the Anny Road end of the centenary that is behind glass, either right above or right below (I can't remember) the TV studio. It looks really s*** in there.

Sion Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 The only lounge behind glass is the one right on the end by the Anny road. It's a bigger box with a kitchen and is used for small weddings and meetings and such. Been in there a few times and it is indeed rubbish as its completely closed off. Don't think it is owned by a sponsor as the club rent it out all the time. All the others have seats on balconies. 5 normal ones and 5 bar stools iirc.

New York Red Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 I've been. Box in the Centenary. The lounge is behind glass where the food and bar is, then a door out to two rows of seats in the open air. Capacity is about 20.

Cunny Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 done the boxes twice at Anfield, both before they did the open air balconies.it's cracking, food is good and staff are top notchdid it with work and there were United fans there who said it was better than OT corporate

downunder Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 There is also corporate with 'normal' seats in Main Stand.
Boca Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 There is also corporate with 'normal' seats in Main Stand. And in the Anny Road
Lou Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 There is also corporate with 'normal' seats in Main Stand. The dining facilities in the Main Stand have been demolished so pre-match food and drinks are served in a marquee. Everyone is given a "goody bag" in lieu of a half time cup of tea and sarnies.
KBR Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 I was at the Arsenal game on Monday, and a client of mine has a box there. He pays £100k for a 15 seater box for the season. Just out of interest does anybody know how much a corporate box costs for a season at Anfield?
downunder Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 For last season. http://assets1.lfcimages.com/uploads/6473__3446__lfc_hospitality_2014-15.pdf

They are exceptional.

Just out of interest does anybody know how much a corporate box costs for a season at Anfield? It was 125k in 2005, don't know how many seats that was for. At least, the museum guy told us that Michael Owen still had a box and it was costing him £125k a season and the contract was for a minimum of 3 seasons. Edited August 26, 2015 by cymrococh
Murphman Posted August 31, 2015 Author Posted August 31, 2015 ... and after all of that, our seats are in The Kop, bog standard alongside the likes of Gunga Din and Will. No idea why but to be honest whatever happened we'll probably enjoy the match more (he says trying to convince himself) watching with the lads.
