Atheism in America

There were 17 candidates for the Republican nomination tonight. Not one was an atheist. it is a candidate killer in the US. It is absolutely bizarre.

 

There was also an NFL player today (I forget his name) who declared that he is an atheist also. The first NFL player to do so supposedly.

 

The history of religion, evangelism etc in this country is an interesting one. But the massive disparity between the USA and Europe on this issue is really disturbing. The obsession with this unprovable and weird force in America is getting worse and worse.
