Windows 10 release

If anyone is stupid enough to want to install Windows 10 on first day of release, and doesn't want to wait for Microsoft to make it available to you, then you can force the upgrade as follows (note: Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 users only)

 

1. Open c:\windows\softwaredistribution\download
2. Delete the contents
3. Turn on automatic windows updates.
4. Go to a command prompt
5. Type wuauclt.exe /updatenow
6. Wait a few minutes and then check Windows Update.
