Interesting article in The Quietus about mixtapes and DJ mix albums.

http://thequietus.com/articles/17840-quietus-writers-favourite-dj-mix-albums

Some really cracking ones in the article and a few of my favourites are in there (The Document, Blech and Omar-S) And I'll add to those the Laurent Garnier's "X-Mix 2" from '94 (in fact anything that has 'Salinas' by Guillaume La Tortue in it) and, of course, Guy Called Gerald's Essential mix from around 95/96 (if you get a chance, listen to it - I as good as gave up techno and house for a while because of it).

What say you?
