Lovers should stay in my opinion - there is potentially a decent centre half in there.....somewhere. Plus we'd lose heavily on the transfer fee......a calculated gamble to keep. Similar to Lallana Who has been very average overall.

It's hard to disassociate this from considering a new manager though; i.e. there's no point keeping players Rodgers never seems to play, or keeps playing out of position (and we see them them under-perform). A new manager could, possibly, realise the potential of a few players here that have been overall disappointing.

 

The only ones I'd definitely want to see leave are Ballotelli, Borini and the forgotten, to this point, Alberto and Aspas.

 

(I'm assuming Johnson is off too of his own volition)

Despite his infamous corner-kick, which made me growl like a rabid dog, I'd rather keep Aspas than any of the three other strikers ( BaLaBor!)

Lovren needs to be sold on. Keep Illori, who's never gotten a chance . And what's happened to Coates, one of the hottest prospects o the scene three years ago?

Lucas is too injury prone to rely on. Allen is too anonymous to make an impact consistently. I wouldn't be too sad to see him go, but I can understand getting rid of Lucas too.

No, I'd get rid of 11 players are nowhere near good enough. Doubt we'll manage to find buyers for all of them though, so we're unlikely to raise much.

 

So to do that, I'd consider selling four others if the price is right. Doubt any of them will spark much interest though.

 

Teixeira's got a broken leg so he's going nowhere.
