Guy_Incognito Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 I thought we always knew that. It was just mainly Daniel Taylor, wholly non-partisan pundit from the guardian, who pushed it. That's my remembering of it anyway.
Billy Talbot Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Yep. I called him out over it on twitter about a year ago and he's still sticking with his version. This isn't the first time that Alan Smith has said it isn't true BTW. Not that c**ty b******s gives a toss.
Nerik Posted April 1, 2015 Author Posted April 1, 2015 Apologies. I thought Smith had never spoken about the alleged incident before.

Philby Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Ya, back in 2012 Smith confirmed it never happened. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2207977/Alan-Smith-interview--MK-Dons-veteran.html

cymrococh Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 I called Paolo Bandini out about this in a comment section of an article recently, the sentence disappeared soon after with no acknowledgment of it ever having been there. On 01/04/2015 at 21:08, Bailo said: Never or didn't?Have you really never heard 'never' used in that context before?
muleskinner Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Has anyone reminded that snide rat taylor of his assertions?

autumn319 Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 Couldn't the medical staff in the ambulance say it didn't happen and then end of the incident?

Think they were always the ones who were the alleged source of the claims, though it was all indirect and no quotes from them or anything. Smith has refuted it before as others have said, and it has been explained away by him being out of it/sedated or something. The Taylors and Wilsons of this world won't be rushing to retract. Taylor has already stood by the story after Smith's previous denial. I doubt they would even admit they were wrong if the lads in the ambulance come out and say the story was always b******s. The opening line of Taylor's article at the time tells you all you need to know about his attitude to us. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2006/feb/23/newsstory.sport1 He is absolutely vile - a horrible Nottingham scab who worships that drunken old liar Clough whilst at the same time wishing he was a Man Utd fan. Wilson is just a pathetic blues***e prick.
fred milne Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 Taylor used to quote Red Issue a lot. He doesn't do it so much now. You only need to check Twitter to see what Red Issue and its founder think of LFC.
