We beat AFC Wimbledon, we beat Bolton, we beat Palace, all in some way or form "bogey sides" in the Cup.

 

We now face Blackburn, who did this to us in 2000 at Anfield (my first match sitting in the Kop End) - http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/sport/football/fa_cup/597911.stm

 

I'm expecting a strong side as we play Swansea only on the Monday the following week, and Rodgers would also probably like to avoid a replay at all costs due to fixture conjestion.

Routine win is all that is needed here and rest up then to get ready for the Swansea game. Hopefully United and Arsenal will draw - not sure who I would prefer to go through there, arsenal are clearly a better side but I'd fancy us against either but united just give you that feeling, can't put it in to words but the less exposure to that feeling the better in my book.

I want Utd vs Arsenal to go to a replay. 3 sent off from each side in each game and for Arsenal to then win on penalties.

I'd rather United go through, Arsenal are a good team.

 

aye. arsenal's best is way better than united's best at the moment. bunch of red cards and injuries when they meet is always a hope though.

Can't wait for this. Proper professional performance and we can see off Blackburn. Anyone know how they play these days, they used to be an aggressive physical outfit when they were last in the top division but things change.

 

I want to see all our lads running round Wembley with the cup, getting a taste for medals and victory champagne.

Reckon Gerrard will come back for this. Not sure he is an our strongest XI any more.

Hope Arsenal knock United out. They f***ing won't though.

 

They have a pretty abysmal record at Old Trafford in recent years. They even lost there during the Moyes era, which is saying something.

Re Gerrard, this would be his last FA Cup match at Anfield so if fit he will play a part at some point I'd guess.

if you are a massive sentimentalist maybe. Not sure he'd be too bothered as long as we go through.

I'd have thought he'd have enjoyed a last European night too, but that's not going to happen. It's all a bit sad, really.
