Would he recommend Lawro as a coach for the defence?

 

He's the only reds legend I've met - briefly, at the George Best testimonial in Belfast - and he was absolutely brilliant with me and me wee brother, unlike Beardsley who couldn't be arsed. Just tell him there's a ton of us who love him, to me he seems almost like a forgotten legend sometimes, maybe because he's more associated with Newcastle.

It is a Liverpool forum but are you really struggling for conversation

and in fairness you aren't the first to do this but you're meeting someone not interviewing them and the majority of questions regarding a player that left us almost 40 years ago have been asked and answered. So yeah it appears like you're just giving it the big one which you have some form for.

I was just giving forumites the opportunity to put any personal questions to the man. It actually says a lot about the cynacism and mentality of some of the forumites if it's not taken as such and just think it's me playing Billy big b******s, which it really isn't

Not at all. There were some questions at the beginning that seemed to want genuine answers, although I suspect the normal YNWA snobby responses have probably put others

 

I would imagine we will be spending tomorrow evening at the bar drinking and chatting about football so would have been easy to get the questions answered

 

However, sorry to waste your time, all that asked relevant questions. I'll take my ball and go back home. Just thought people might genuinely have an interest into getting extra insights from someone who played such a huge part in the club's history (as indeed some did) rather than just the normal stuff that is readily available, but then of course I didn't bargain for the YNWA forum thought police getting all cynical about it and acting like a bunch of t***s.
