It was mad that Molby beat Eric Bristow at darts past night. At the same time Jan always looked like he had the physique to be a top class darts player, so I shouldn't be that surprised.

I've probably said it before on here, but I loved Terry Mc only second to Kenny as a kid. What a player he was!

Edit: Belting read that. Goosebumps.

Saw Terry many a time pissed out of his head on a Thursday night only to be magnificent on Saturday. Amazing little player who had a great engine and was very underrated I thought.

He was superb wasn't he. Master of keeping the ball down on the volley is one thing that sticks in my mind, remember my Dad teaching me the 'Mcdermott volley' in the back field.

The Bruges final of '78 is well worth a watch for anyone not that familiar with him, shows off his terrific engine and technique.

Great read that McDermott one, and the Spurs '78 goal is etched in my memory, seen from boot height in the paddock.

Molby one of my favourite players too. Great times.

Case - Mcdermott- Souness - Kennedy

Quite possibly my favourite ever midfield

2 of them would be red carded in almost every game they played the way today's game is played and refereed.

They might just adjust to the refereeing of today though, don't you think ?

Too young to remember Macs's goal against Aberdeen, but was at Anfield when Molby scored that goal..............The best bit after the goal was the fans that got out of the Kemlyn onto the pitch

The crush on the Kop was almost as bad as the St Etienne game when Fairclough scored the winner.

They would be better than they were back then because no-one would go near them in today's game. Souness and Case were hard men but I can remember many a player bouncing off Ray Kennedy when he went into the tackle.
