I think it was Hassony who said he wouldn't make it. Hassony knows nothing. It didn't take yesterday's performance to tell you he's got it.

 

I don't think you need to change his position.

Think it was just a matter of time with Ibe, like Sammy said you could see he's got it, I wanted him starting at Bolton but didn't realise he was cup tied. He's some physical specimen as well - he's got a neck and shoulders like a bull. I think what yesterday showed was he's got the temperament and confidence to go with the ability. It's a great combination for a future top footballer, another exciting young player - we've got a great future. There isn't another club around with the level and depth of talent we have in the 18-25 age bracket.

Potential beast in the offing. Has the build and strength that Raheem doesn't, but possesses everything else that Raheem has. Hopefully he will get a run of games after his performance yesterday.

Premature to suggest he's on Sterling's level on anything other than pace at the moment. Sterling is one of the best young players in Europe and seems to be underrated by a lot of our fans.

 

That said, Ibe looks like he's got a bit more in an attacking sense than Markovic at the moment. Might be down to confidence but weirdly Markovic seems to be doing better in his defensive duties.

I said potentially. Sterling has been our best player this season. Not underated by me. Just saying Jordan has more in his locker potentially than Raheem.

Not 'aving that. There's no way Jordon isn't better than Barnes already - we've never lost when Ibe has played. And whilst that may or may not be true it indicates that we will never lose with him. I'd rip up Sterling's contract offer now and give it to Ibe.

 

He's probably equal with Kenny.

I really liked his manner when on the ball. Collected, assured, promise of bags of skill.

 

I felt, a bit like when Sterling first came through, that he'll struggle a bit when it comes to really leaving players for dead. He's got the pace, but not quite there yet for using at at this level.

 

He's got the lot in his locker though. Sexy player.

And Markovic, Can and Henderson. We can play em all. This Rodgers at his best. Find a way to chuck every attacker on the pitch. We look better balanced in this system so that earns him another winger. Like how exercise gets you extra Weight Watchers points.

I've said for a while that Ibe will end up being better than Sterling, and that's not a slight on Raheem at all. Ibe is the real deal. Pace, power, skill. He's got it all

sterling, ibe, markovich, coutinho, not bad especially with ojo and wilson in reserve. Just need a forward to support sturridge.
