Slippers

So we've had the carpets professionally cleaned and they advised that black socks (which is what I wear most of the time) not be worn on them as they have a darkening effect over time, so the wife wants me to wear slippers.

 

You have to be picking your battles and I reckon this may be one to concede, so what's good/acceptable, forum fashionistas, in the slipper world? Last time I wore some I think they might have been Incredible Hulk ones.
