Sound bars

[Gravy]

Just bought myself a new 48 inch TV and want to get a sound bar, but bing a technical and electrical idiot I gave no idea what to get, what I should spend, and even if the my so what I've been told they so, which takes away the need for speakers and an amp apparently as projects sound around the room - TV and music

 

Can anyone on here help or recommend? Do to want to spend too much but really know nothing about it all
