Does anyone know of a link that shows the incident that led to the Gary Mac free-kick in 2001? I want to see how/why the free-kick was given, and how much he moves the ball forward, etc. Surely it must be online somewhere...

Great goal from Heskey, what was Sander doing for the equalizer? Great finish from Babbel for the 2nd & Robbie hit almost a perfect penno, in contrast to theirs which is a bit of a toey.

It was the first goal that annoyed me more. Putting his foot up to protect him from the ball than making himself bigger and hoping tthe ball will hit him.

 

About the goal, I love how Sami and Gary Mac are on different wavelengths. Hyypia is trying to mix it up by moving about the box as he had a header saved from a similar Gary Mac free just a few mins before when it wentto the back post. McAllister was gesticulating to him to try make it as obvious as the last free to drag everyone to the back post and free up a pathway to the near post.

I can't remember what it was on, but Gary Macca was asked about that free kick and he said he knew the goal was on, however Carragher knew as well and he was shouting at Gary Macca to have a go and, Gary Macca was trying to get him to shut up!
