Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 ok.... Gonna need a 'Big European Anfield NIght TM' here. Got to show some sort of cojones that have been largely absent so far this season. If I was a betting man, I'd say draw...assuming they've done their homework, they'll set up by parking a fleet of buses & see what happens - nick one on the counter if they can... The team should be pretty obvious I expect. We have to come out of the gates hard & fast, get the crowd bananas
muleskinner Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 We're winning this. Is Balotelli available?
ali Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 We're winning this. Is Balotelli available? Apparently not according to the Echo today, 5 plane loads coming over not including the team, they were very vocal last time if I remember rightly
RP Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Apparently not according to the Echo today, 5 plane loads coming over not including the team, they were very vocal last time if I remember rightly They were very fighty.
Sion Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Young Boys were the same I got kettled with them in Williamson Square. Was a laugh until they started smashing pint glasses on the floor.

Cam Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 So are we going with "Baah-sil" or "Basil" for this? And how come no-one ever calls them "Baaal" any more?
Case Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Watching this with a Baaaah zel fan at mine. If he drops a pint glass on my floor, he can feck off. He's convinced they'll win one or two nil.

scoose Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 (edited) If you speak German is Basel (barsel) If you speak French its Basle (Baaal) I used to work for a company based there and went there a fair bit. I quite liked it apart from them taking the piss in the shop like. I hand over money for purchase and say Danke - they respond Merci I hand over money for purchase and say Merci - they respond Danke c**** Edited December 8, 2014 by scoose
