Office Christmas Lunch venue recommendations

My boss has been an idiot and left the xmas do till the last minute.

It is Friday 19th December, 30+ people, looking to eat about 2/3pm.

I'm assuming we are struggling to get anywhere this late but any suggestions/recommendations in Liverpool?

My suggestion was MacDonalds and just hit the pub - didn't go down well.
