So, had a new HDD fitted in my iPod classic 160gb. All looks fine until you connect to iTunes...then nothing, not recognised. Looking in device manager the apple mobile support driver isn't there but is running in services. Tried updating the driver when it shows up and it is up to date. Have reinstalled iTunes 4 times now and still no joy.

 

PC is Windows 7. Any clues as to how to solve this ballache gratefully received.
