What is this "new queue management system" for people turning up after 12:15?

 

Important information for fans attending the Everton game

 

Liverpool Football Club, Everton Football Club, Liverpool City Council and Merseyside Police are working in partnership to improve fans’ access to Anfield Stadium ahead of the Merseyside Derby on Saturday 27th September 2014, kick-off 12:45pm.

 

New measures are being put in place following congestion outside the stadium on Anfield Road at the last Merseyside Derby in January 2014. As a result the following will be put in place ahead of the game:

• Turnstiles will be open from 11am and fans are requested to be inside the stadium by 12:15pm (30 minutes before kick-off)

• Any fans arriving after 12:15pm will experience a new queue management system around the stadium to ensure a steady flow of fans entering Anfield

• Everton stewards will be helping with the operation and will be present at away turnstiles

 

Please ensure you plan your route to the stadium and to allow extra time for your journey. For key information and a map click here.

 

Please note a temporary disabled drop off point is now situated on Anfield Road at the head of the central reservation of Utting Avenue between Arkles Road and Wylva Road. Signage is in place to indicate the new location. Please note that this area is only available pre-match. For more information click here.

Early days & limited information but I wonder if Rodgers sees Lallana that deep. I thought at times that Sterling was almost playing behind Lallana on Tuesday, first half anyway.

Doubt it will happen but I'd like to see Sterling play alongside Balotelli if Sturridge isn't fit. We've lacked pace going in behind the opposition defensive line, forwards who take on the last defender with skill and pace and generally movement across the defensive line. It may not work but don't think he can do much worse there than Borini and Lambert who aren't bad players individually but don't fit the system I imagine we want to play. Since Sturridge has been out we've managed one goal in four games from our strikers.
