He was taking English lessons when he came over according to early interviews, seems he may not be entirely comfortable with the language if he is talking French with Lovren on the pitch. Nonsense. Actually gives the attacking player something to turn on. Rather that than Skrtel/Lovrens ball which immediately has to come back as they've been closed down.

some of his passing is dreadful. He gave the ball away needlessly several times v spurs. Luckily we weren't punished for those mistakes. He gave away a needless corner v Villa and we were punished.

The most bizarre thing about that is Lovren's allowed to hit a long one but Mignolet isn't! We were in injury time and the fella was still rolling it out to Sakho.

Not that it necessarily affects his play, but he seems to be very ungainly when he runs. Very flat footed and feet at ten-to-two.
