ali Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Special programme on the Beeb last night, one of the goals shown was LFC v Arsenal, scored by John Radford, I was there my first match at Anfield in 1969, I can't believe I've just seen it again. Pitch like a bog, first loss in the league in 14 months at Anfield, pitch invasion at the Annie Road end Just glad it wasn't my first ever, that was in 1964 at Hghbury, won 0-1 http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b04fd91h/match-of-the-day-at-50 for outside of the UK - If you use google chrome, look up a free browser add on called "Hola", it will change the internet for you. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/hola-better-internet/gkojfkhlekighikafcpjkiklfbnlmeio?hl=en
Kurt Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 ..but whatever you do, make sure to turn it off before you have to listen to Lethal Bizzle's version of the MOTD theme tune.

Great piece of software
Earl Hafler Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 ..but whatever you do, make sure to turn it off before you have to listen to Lethal Bizzle's version of the MOTD theme tune. And Tiddlesey seemed very...camp. And with a monk's haircut.
Des Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Barry Stoller reminded me of that bloke out of Creme Brulee.
Hector McDougal Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 I do like MOTD but the Beeb are great lads for patting themselves on the back. In fairness RTE are just the same here in Ireland.
floyd Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Bringing Barry Davies back for a commentary tonight will be interesting. Hearing the sound of silence every now and then instead of the inert drivel they all seem to think is necessary will be a welcome change. Be even better if Davies does his commentary speaking down a landline phone replicating those European away games
