PhilM Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 (edited) ...who we were a wrongly disallowed Raheem Sterling goal away from beating to the title. My suggested game plan is that we batter them by maybe three of four goals. Five, if absolutely necessary. Edited August 19, 2014 by philmatthews
Ant Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 My thought process on this is that if we win, it means nothing, if we lose it means everything. Need to drop Lucas.

MarkD Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 I'm with Phil but happy to stop at three so we can stay under the radar a bit longer.
SkippyjonJones Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 stick 5 past them in 30 minutes then think about a game plan..
whitewidow Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Shoot Mig unless he distributes the ball with millimeter precision for the full match.
CaptainXabi Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 I agree with the battering strategy. Raheem loves a game against these. Can't wait to see what he'll do.

Was just beautiful, one of the best moments of the season.

Swipe Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Will be tough. May as well have a go. Allen or Can in for Lucas I hope.

Go twenty points clear at the top of the table as soon as possible without anyone noticing and then suddenly it's the end of the season and people go "Hang on, Liverpool are top. When did they get there?"

fred milne Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 I would expect Allen to get the nod ahead of Lucas for this. The only other dilemma is whether to start Moreno ahead of Johnson. It would be a real baptism of fire, though.

Clay Davis Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 We're away at the best team in the league. A draw would be a cracking result. A loss wouldn't be the end of the world.

I missed most of the game cos I was awayThe way people talk about that I always assumed the goal came laterWas really surprised when I found out it was at 0-0 for the reasons you describe

yellow jumper Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 the reaction was mostly about it being one of the worst offside decisions you're ever likely to see.
