...who we were a wrongly disallowed Raheem Sterling goal away from beating to the title.

My suggested game plan is that we batter them by maybe three of four goals. Five, if absolutely necessary.

My thought process on this is that if we win, it means nothing, if we lose it means everything.

Need to drop Lucas.

I agree with the battering strategy.

Raheem loves a game against these. Can't wait to see what he'll do.

That goal he scored against them last season, where he feinted and waited and just slotted it with such calmness. Was just beautiful, one of the best moments of the season.

It was indeed beautiful. Up there with Flanagan's goal as best moment of the season.

I was a mess for the whole 90 minutes. It was insane.

If you offered me a point now for this one, you'd lose your arm.

Best moment of the season. Scenes on the kop. Struggled to get my breath back for a good few minutes.

I'm with Phil but happy to stop at three so we can stay under the radar a bit longer.

Stealthy, I like it. Go twenty points clear at the top of the table as soon as possible without anyone noticing and then suddenly it's the end of the season and people go "Hang on, Liverpool are top. When did they get there?"

I would expect Allen to get the nod ahead of Lucas for this. The only other dilemma is whether to start Moreno ahead of Johnson. It would be a real baptism of fire, though.

I think there will be one change and it won't be in defence.

Last season's biggest myth that one.

It was 0-0 at the time and we went 1-0 up anyway.

I think the idea is we would have been 2-0 up and at least drawn the match. That said, Crystal Palace....

Well we wouldn't cos the goal goes in and everything that happens is different and it's still 1-0. We could have lost 8-1.

Right, but that's real world logic and not footy logic. Footy logic applies in this situation :bleh: .

I missed most of the game cos I was away

The way people talk about that I always assumed the goal came later

Was really surprised when I found out it was at 0-0 for the reasons you describe

Sterling miss at the end was the one that had a bigger effect on the outcome of the game
