RP Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Well the old one has turned into something completely different!
Kvarme Ate My Food Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 No doubt this one will remain firmly on track.
RP Posted August 1, 2014 Author Posted August 1, 2014 Without doubt. Johnson out, Moreno in. Oh and Reus. Is that it covered?

eth Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Are we complaining that too many posts have been deleted, or too few?
RP Posted August 1, 2014 Author Posted August 1, 2014 Have any posts been deleted in this thread yet? Yes, and in a particularly snidey manner.
downunder Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 1406933910[/url]' post='3677630']Yes, and in a particularly snidey manner. Great, and hopefully you remember doing it. Anyway, it's not the lack of transfers that is worrying, but the lack of links that we can discuss.
RP Posted August 1, 2014 Author Posted August 1, 2014 Sky Sports News is on the Moreno one again this evening. I'd love us to really pull one out of the bag - but we haven't done that all summer (bar Lambert), all signings have been well trailed beforehand.
Earl Hafler Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Johnson out, The alarm rang in the gazebo. Please don't do this unless it's genuine.
RP Posted August 1, 2014 Author Posted August 1, 2014 Just seen that SSN ticker is running tonight with: LFC re-opens talks to sign Moreno from Seville for £20milLFC close to signing Manquillo on loanKolo Toure to stay at LFC following bid from Trabzonspor

FakeNewsBear Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Southampton want Lucas, Agger to Barca and Johnson to West Ham
Falconhoof Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Southampton want Lucas, Agger to Barca and Johnson to West Ham Happy with all that, seems like as good a time as any for those three to make a move. It's going to be a test to see how we manage such a large number of changes to the squad. Having said that Rodgers very quickly moved players on and radically changed the squad over a few transfer windows so he's probably confident he can handle it.

Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 If we are selling can we have the Chelsea negotiator please?

shanklyn Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 The word down in Wales is that we are seriously picking up interest in Bony again. Really don't know what to think about this one if it happens. He was afwul at the start with the Swans, but looks to have settled realy well since. He won't be cheap that's for sure.

Swansea fans werent impressed early on. But no doubt he improved during the season. Does look a bit awkward at times though.
surf Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Southampton want Lucas, Agger to Barca and Johnson to West Ham what does southampton care where agger and johnson go?
McBain Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Bony makes sense as being most likely as we will have already got ourselves a certain way down the road in signing him before we chose Remy. We'll have been talking to his agent and talking with Swansea plenty already I think talk of a Benzema or Falcao this summer is unlikely. Bony is prob as good as we can get at this stage. Nail another shot at the league and have a good CL run and maybe next summer your top class players might look at us
baja the hut Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Bony scored 16 last season. In our team he'd arguably score more. Plus he adds other things: - hold up play, with Bony in our team we'd have beaten Crystal Palace. - defending set pieces

Plus he adds other things: - hold up play, with Bony in our team we'd have beaten Crystal Palace. - defending set pieces I like lots of the things I've seen of Bony but I've not seen any evidence he has the pace or mobility that playing in our attack requires of a striker.
