Somebody could've took the tag of the shirt. Unless of course we signed him on the cheap and he has to pay for his own kit. In which case, well done whoever negotiated personal terms with him.

Hope he's better than Berger tbh

Loved Berger, but he was never a 20m player

I'm looking for Lazar Markovic to be the new C Ronaldo

PEW PEW?

“I never celebrate my goals. I don’t know how it began, I just never have, even when I was a kid. Maybe one day I’ll change, but to be honest I don’t waste time thinking about the subject. Every goal I score is enormously significant for me, even if I don’t celebrate it.”

Goals celebrate Lazar Marković.

Can't see him celebrating after we made him buy his shirt

It might soften the blow when he finds out he gets a free towel when he buys the third shirt.

Well back then a 20m player would have been a world record transfer. I think Berger was a very good player. Injuries took their toll, but at his best he was a damn good player.

Reading Tor Kristian Karlsson's opinion on him has got me very excited. He reckons his value could double in the next couple of years and he's one of the best young prospects in Europe.

berger didn't do it consistently enough, basically, through injury and whatever else.

here's TK Karlsen's opinion on markovic:

I've followed his career since making Partizan debut, talent and potential obvious from the point of breaking into the first team (1/5)

Top European sides were monitoring him back then, most of those impressed by his great ability though some concerns re "frail" physique(2/5)

In terms of potential there's no doubt in my mind that Markovic is among the top 3-5 greatest talents in European football (3/5)

Main characteristics: great ability on the ball (close control, touch), explosive/very quick in one vs one situations, intelligent (4/5)

Transfer fee may seem high but if player develops according to expectations/potential, he could (should) be worth x2 in 18-24 months (5/5)

graham hunter more equivocal on sanchez's ability on R5 last night, by the way. although he was saying good things about aspas last year.
