Enjoyed that programme.

Dalglish's miss though - imagine that happening now. We'd have him sold.

Apologies. It must be your use of the words doco and proggy that threw me.

Those in glass houses ...

No problem pal, you're right in that I don't understand your gripe as you haven't actually raised a gripe as such. I'm going to assume that you mean gripe here as it is defined in the Oxford dictionary, i.e. as a noun, thus "A minor complaint" - My link

You asked if I was Australian, and said the words proggy and doco threw you, if you said my parlance was not in keeping with the vernacular associated with this board I could have agreed at the outset. As it transpired, I hurriedly scribbled a post while watching the TV for the benefit of anyone who might not have been aware of it. I still see no actual complaint (gripe) from you in your posts!

I'm sure that anyone who is indeed Australian can confirm that the BBC (UK broadcast version) is well out of range for TV reception there and the iPlayer capability is zero and as such would be unlikely to post a reference to a doco, sorry, documentary being aired in the UK minutes after it had started.

Anyway, f*** it, it's on iPlayer for anyone who IS interested. I'm sure a youtube version will appear at some point. G'day!

Go on then RP. Show me what you can dig up.

I might write dunno/gonna or suchlike the odd time, but doco and proggy?

You of all people pulling someone up on use of language.

Back to the show. I just watched it and thought it was pretty good.

Des Lynam had a bad voice though, is he ill?

He's 97.
