Good writing/journalism

We all moan about the general standard of journalism these days, so it might be nice to have a thread where we can recommend the rare examples of good writing we find.

 

At the moment, in the tradition of hyping female Guardian writers I am enjoying most of what Hadley Freeman writes - including the fashion pieces.

 

Another writer whose work was brought to my attention recently is Rachel Kaadzi Ghansah. She's got a great piece about Kendrick Lamar here.
