i fancy chile to put brazil out and uruguay to put colombia out after extra time and penos both matches

Was confident Colombia would win today but think Uruguay will be really fired up after what's happened to suarez so hard to call.

chile's record v. brazil is pretty awful. think brazil probably better equipped than the teams they've played so far to expose a weakness to high balls into box and also some issues when countered at speed. loss to holland decided on set piece and late break and they struggled 2nd half with physicality/directness of australia.

 

uruguay decent record v colombia, won 7, drawn 1, lost 1 since 2005. although that defeat came in away fixture of last qualifying campaign. 4-0. colombia also have history of bottling. although hope they perform this time as they've been good to watch.

They could potentially be two great matches but i've no financial interest in either.

chile a little overrated on basis of beating england at wembley in friendly and busted flush of an spanish side here, i think. 2 of their 3 performances not actually that impressive. brazil not great either having said that.
