Everyone knows the situation in Group D I guess. Just the one set of perennial under-achievers is already out of the running.

Group C - Colombia through, likely in top spot, any of the other three teams in the group could still join them. Gotta fancy Ivory Coast.

Only the last 10 if they aren't winning and the other match looks settled.

Not a chance.

It's quite reasonable really. Everyone gets a gold star and is made to feel part of the group.

In fact, one of the players has his family over - I think his lad has been promised a run out in the second half.

Last time I looked Costa Rica were still 3/1 to win. On the double chance market they are probably 4/6. I might have a big bet on that if they are picking a strong team to ensure they win the group.

They are 7/2 and better than evens.

Can't see Italy - Uruguay ending 11 v 11.

I can see a couple of goals maybe, but certainly not that many.

Very subdued so far between Italy and Uruguay, not even any atmosphere. Hopefully theres a goal soon to liven it up.

uruguay possibly keeping powder dry for the second half? they have to win.
