RP Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Fair to say that Monday's schedule looks likely to peak early!
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 hmmm so far no draws & goals in every game Know where to put your money on Monday
Gunga Din Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Germany to win and both teams to score is 3/1. seems big that. Im gonna have a wee go on that i think in the first game

RP Posted June 16, 2014 Author Posted June 16, 2014 what odds for a 2-1 though? might work out better Not if it ends 3-2, 3-1, 4-2, 4-1 etc. That's the point of that bet.

RP Posted June 16, 2014 Author Posted June 16, 2014 Initial price on bookings is just about where it was for France v Honduras
Begbie Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Initial price on bookings is just about where it was for France v Honduras No where near as good value as that. Given what's at stake I can see most games have 3/4 bookings so limits the downside on the index bets. That said, I prefer to bet in play to see how fussy the ref is (plus, you can often see a point when the next foul will result in a booking). Not a perfect system...cost me yesterday
RP Posted June 16, 2014 Author Posted June 16, 2014 I usually/often do similar - buy for a very small stake pre-match and then look to add to it as and when during the game. If the ref is lenient, then i'm long but only with a half stake. If he looks strict, you might miss one booking by the time you add to your stake but I'd rather do it that way. Yesterday was different as I just thought it was a mis-price, so I bought my full usual stake ... added to it at half-time (at 104, 55 so far) and then got out of that half (at 105, 65 so far) ten minutes and one booking later when it looked to be calming down a bit.

Yeah, thought the ref was good overall but he could have added more cards second half and Pogna could have gone. Backs up your mis-price theory! Be interesting to see what bookings price the next Honduras match is - can see a lot of money buying so maybe overpriced and a chance of a quick early profit

Not a perfect system...cost me yesterday Milorad Mazic - seems a bit strict and inexperienced at International level and with this being a potentially tasty fixture... Plenty of yellows but only one red ( second yellow ) last season in the CL. Booked 8 players and sent one player off in a CL game the season before. Has cautioned 6 to 8 players in several games in the last two seasons. Edited June 16, 2014 by Earl Hafler
Beardsley Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Damn. Meireles looks like he's been picked up from an acid house.
Sion Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 ITV sound like the commentators are sat in a shed outside the ground
Cobs Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Almeida's moustache is my favourite thing in the tournament so far
Cobs Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Khedira is not John Barnes Patricio is Dave Beasant though
Andy-oh-six Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Sounds like a decent game so far. Tony Pulis on Five Live is a better co-commentator than Phil Neville. Fact.
Rodgers Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Nice header. Didnt think the Germans would have it this easy.
Earl Hafler Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 2-0 Ronaldo will start complaining and looking at the screen in desperation.
