Now that the auction is done, a nice shiny new thread to deal with actual gameplay.

 

Transfer windows are being sorted at the moment - I'll post details here shortly.

Quick summary of the League rules

 

Squad size 15

 

Max 3 players permitted from any one country

 

Formations permitted are 4-4-2, 5-3-2, 4-3-3

 

Transfer deadline for sealed bids (for free agents) is Tuesday 17 June at 4pm BST.

 

Most teams will have played one game by then.

 

Bid increment is £0.1mil

 

You get half money back on players you sell (i.e. half what you paid for them).

 

In transfers where there is a tie, preference is given to the team in the lower league position.

How do we change formation?

 

EDIT: Just found out, you drag the players you want on and it sort of naturally adjusts i.e. I brought a forward on for a midfielder and it automatically went to 4-3-3.

Dunno - presumably it is part of the transfers process - you have to sell one to buy one, I guess.

A quick read earlier and there seemed to be little difference between defenders and forwards as regard points. They both double after the group stage.

i've got Marcelo and Ramires. Marcelo is a red card waiting to happen... but is good at getting forward, so i'm hopeful. Also hoping Ramires is a starter ahead of Paulinho.

No Argies though. Got outbid for them all the time.
