Opportunity has come up with work to move over to Hong Kong for a bit, probably for a couple of years.

It would be exciting to be out there,I've already been with work a number of times, but I'm slightly concerned about the cost of living. I wouldn't be getting a housing allowance or anything like that, but on the plus side there's lower taxes.

My wife is going to come with me,and in all likelihood her work won't be able to transfer her too,so I'm worried she wouldn't be able to find anything when she got there, and we'd then be strapped for cash in a crummy apartment.

Anybody have any ideas about how easy/difficult it may be for somebody who doesn't speak Cantonese to get a job out there at the moment? She currently works in PR.

I know there's a couple of expats here, any ideas lads?
