Why is it the media don't ask the obvious questions?

 

I don't get it. They have the access and opportunity, but duck it. Some journo could've made a name if he'd just ask mourinho after our game about the relativity to west ham and made the point, but it never got done.

 

How much control do clubs have on the media? Surely the industry can support some straight shooters?

Recent history shows that managers and clubs tend to get uppity about being asked difficult questions. They keep journos in line by banning them. Ferguson often did it and even Newcastle did last season.

and you can't even send in the sacrificial intern as the club bans the whole news outlet , not just the individual.

Some will doubtless tell me it passed its sell by date years ago but has anyone else had the finger over the unsubscribe link for The Fiver lately? I reckon I have had it emailed to me since about 2000 but I barely read it anymore and when i do, it makes me feel like being trapped in a lift with a sneering a****** who hates everything and everyone.

I unsubscribed last week. It used to be brilliant, but now plain awful.
