psl Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Right then, on we go. Everton get something from City and we come in to this game knowing 2 wins will win us the league.
Gethin Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 There's a tube strike scheduled to start at 2130 on Monday evening. Whilst this shouldn't affect you getting to and from the ground as National Rail and London Overground services probably won't be affected, it might mean getting across London is a problem. If anyone's trying to get to Euston after the game then I'd suggest going to London Bridge and getting the ThamesLink (First Capital Connect) service to St Pancras and walking from there (about 10 mins) TFL advice on what services will be affected: http://www.tfl.gov.uk/modes/tube/services-we-expect-to-run
Tosh Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Thameslink also run through Herne Hill - not sure where it goes/stop south of there.. The Overground now runs from Crystal Palace station (not Selhurst) through to north London via Rotherhithe and Shoreditch...
Billy Dane Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Going to be in Aalborg, Denmark when we play this. Had it in my head that I might be watching us win the league. We just need to win our last two games and see where we end up. In doing so at least we'll finish above Chelsea.
schmuckdonald Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 f***ing batter these Reds. f***ing destroy them.
Ed the Wool Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Biggest task is getting their heads straight, doubly so if Everton fail to take a point. These looked decent against City, they didn't lie down, we'll have to play well to beat them, just hoping the swagger comes back. Win this and it piles the pressure on City. Got to keep believing.
Cobs Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Everton to beat City Chelsea to beat Norwich we draw with Palace means we beat Newcastle on the last day and win the title on goal difference from Chelsea, City in 3rd a point behind. sorted.
Hieronymus Bosch Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 If Everton can get a result, the momentum will be right back with us. If not, this will be a massive test of our character. Should City get three points, keep the pressure on by winning and I'm convinced they will slip up somewhere.

Nerik Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 I am going. Don't know how I'll be able to contain my emotions amidst the home fans, but beggars cannot be choosers
Florist Cinema Pond Goal Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 5 against these and then 5 against Newcastle Wouldn't be enough even if City win three 1-0s! We need a +12 GD from the 2 games to stand a chance of winning it on goal difference.
rednotdead Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 On the goal difference, its plausible to see us putting 5-6 past an already on holidays Newcastle but hard to see us getting more than one or two v Palace
Nate. Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Our mindset could depend on the City result. Anything in our favour could really give them an extra step.
Swan Red Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Not even I'm going down the path of goal difference. We need City to drop points and we need to make sure if they do we benefit.
aka Dus Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Our away support is just what our lads need to kick off any cobwebs. Think our crowd let their performance slip the same level as our lads yesterday, if I can be so bold as to say that from the comfort of the cushion that was under my a*** at home for it.

Kills the spirit.

Be interested to see how long the ball was in play yesterday. Hard to keep at it when every time the ball goes out its like an American football game.
