Infantino said the order of the legs of the Chelsea games will be reversed so that Chelsea are at home first and away second due to not having legs in Madrid on successive nights.

 

Disappointing draw really from our point of view. Wanted Chelsea to have the toughest game possible, but they'll still have more than one eye on the semis when they play us. Plus Atletico are clearly a very good side anyway.

glad they've not drawn Bayern and the media circus if they were playing Madrid would be nauseating. This lot are top of La Liga and have just seen of Barca over two legs. I reckon they'll snot them. Chelsea are the weakest team left by a distance.

Agree completely with this. AM are a right handful at the minute. Hopefully they can get a one or two goal lead in the first leg, enough for Chelsea to still feel like they can turn it around so their minds are off the game with us.

 

Plus we can have 40000 screaming at them at Anfield as well. Will be like old times.

yeah. atletico a very mourinho-style side, but moreso than his current chelsea. not an easy side to counter attack or bully physically.

the difference in them is that they aren't bottling now really. think that defeat cam during a slump and with some senior players rested. they beat mourinho's madrid in the copa del rey final a season ago. and chelsea in the super cup 2 season's ago. think it's more a question of form collectively and for their best players individually.
