Either our game or Sunderland game will be moved back to a Saturday kick off depending on the dates of the Champions League semi.

f***ing joke.

The Premier League usually point out that they must be fair to all 20 of their members - not only those flying the flag in international competition – but they have confirmed to Sportsmail that one of Chelsea’s Sunday fixtures – either against Liverpool or Sunderland - will be moved to the Saturday.

As it stands, Mourinho’s team are slated to play Sunderland at home on Sunday April 20 before the first leg of the Champions League semi-final and Liverpool away on Sunday April 27 ahead of the second leg.

I think it's fair. At least it sets a precedent that the PL is willing to help out teams in Euro comps.

We'd be pissed off if we were asked to play the Chelsea schedule. If they were really fair, they would shift the league game prior to the first leg to the Friday night.

Can't argue really, teams aren't normally expected to play Sunday then Tuesday. Sky will be pissed if it gets moved to Saturday at 3 and they can't show it though-unless they make it Saturday 5.30 and move the Mancs v Norwich game to the sunday. anyway, won't know til Fridays draw

Didn't we do it a couple of seasons back against Chelsea when Lucas did his knee in?

or didn't we want to & they wouldn't?

Yeah I think we asked for it to be changed but the FA (or Premier league) refused.

Who are City playing that weekend? If this match was moved to an early Saturday time could be a nice opportunity to beat Chelsea and then stick a load of pressure on City as well.

Were Sky scheduled to get this game, or BT?

Sky can go f*ck themselves. If it is moved to the Saturday, I hope it is at 3, but knowing the PL, they'll open all their orifices to accommodate Sky.

There's not a hope in hell that this will be on at 3pm on a Saturday.

No, not up here. Setanta folded outside the South ages ago. I'll be streaming it live from somewhere anyway.

Nothing like a little eplsite afternoon for when tickets pass you by

I'd have thought not and I'd quite like to watch it.

In any case I think the argument to move the game is reasonable doesn't hurt either side relative to the other and I'm alright with us battering them whenever they fancy playing

I have 1/2mb broadband you'se relying on streaming can f*** off

if they move it to sat at 3pm then I may have to watch the official stream over here.

its not too shabby on 45mb..

It will be on NBCSN whenever they schedule it.

i think there is a chance that if chelsea were playing a european semi final 48 hours after playing us they'd be inclined to rest 1 or 2.

But moving it doesn't hurt either side.

They will anyway . I'm praying Chelsea drop points before they place us and all but give up on the title.

If they play the 1st leg on the Tuesday then they get 4 days rest before the Sunday game with us.

If they play the 1st leg on the Wednesday (then the 2nd leg will be the Tuesday), then our game gets moved to Saturday and they get only 2 days rest. Obviously it screws fans that have travel plans etc which is crap !

Should it be moved, how/where will Sky fit it in ?

12.45: BT show Southampton v Everton so I assume Sky cant show a game that clashes with BT.

3pm: Not allowed show games

5.30pm: Sky show Man Utd v Norwich

go f*** yourselves chelsea

Both equally valid points.

I don't want to help Chelsea - I'd happily have the game on the same night as their semi and if they don't turn up then tough - but I can't blame the PL for helping it.

I'd be happier with 3pm or 5:30 on the Sauturday. Don't want 12:45 though; I still argue that it's too early for football.
