Good game so far, Dunn just scored, 1-0.

 

Dunn almost in again, ball falls to Lussy, has a good shot but saved by the keeper.

 

great break there, Peterson gets in behind, almost forced an own goal, just wide.

 

Chelsea apply some pressure there with a few corners but comes to nothing.

 

Swift tries to take out Texeira who has had a very good game so far, the little s*** gets a yellow.

 

Almost conceeded there, very slow and sloppy at the back, ball nicked off the center back with keeper off his line, fortunately the ball goes over the bar.

 

Chelsea player "Yesonda" (no idea if that's the correct spelling) is a typical little Chelsea prick, arguing, pushing and roaring for yellows when he gets fouled, at the right club there.

Teixeira with a great freekick there, comes back off the post, another freekick now....and Dunn sends it over the bar, Peterson(hope that's right spelling) is looking really dangerous in this half so far.

Swift, the guy who brought down Teixeira early and got a yellow brings down Rossiter and gives away foul, getting close to a second yellow, the freekick comes to nothing but we are really playing well now, Peterson, Teixeira and Dunn are a lot more involved. Game has definitely opend up.

 

Paez, wins the ball but ref gives him yellow for old times sake ;)/>, Chelsea free but it's cleared by Jones.Paez looks like a big lad.

Some tasty tackles going in now, Peterson got caught twice (i think). Teixeira looks a class act, almost strolling through the game, we look most likely to score, Chelsea sitting back and trying to counter. Just like their first team, boring coward w*****s.

 

Rossiter gets a card for a foul, the Chelsea right back Aina (sp) looks a quality player. Great break, Dunn to Peterson, shot is saved by keeper. On comes Pelosi, first game back after that big injury.

 

Got lucky there, should have been a penalty but we get away with it.

That's it, great win well deserved, few close calls near the end. Our defense was very good, the 2 center backs are very solid, Teixeira, Peterson were excellent, the whole team was good.

Always impressed whenever I watch this team at the moment. They play just like the first team, on the front foot, dominating games (as well as being occasionally sloppy at the back, to be fair). They're all very comfortable on the ball as well which feels like a major change from a few years ago when there was always a few players with more physical than technical ability.

It's so hard to judge which way players are going to go in their careers but while it felt in previous years that maybe 2-3 players could really go on and achieve something, the feeling I get with this team is that while probably just one or two will be able to make it at Liverpool, most will have very good professional careers.

There were murmerings that he was one of the players that would be fast tracked into the first team squad. He looked very impressive before his injury and also played very competantly in several different positions for the reserves.
