Florist Cinema Pond Goal Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 For a team that has spent £640 million over the past 5 seasons they should be a lot better than they are. Let's do them

fellafeen Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Chance to open a 7 point gap, shirley a win, wins it - JFW
Jim D Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Need another Chelsea Semi Final atmosphere, got to get into the City players as much as possible, make them nervous as ****. City would be happy with a point and I hope they come to Anfield playing for one, could play into our hands. HUGE game.
Sion Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Chance to open a 7 point gap, shirley a win, wins it - JFW Not sure we can discount Chelsea so easily.Besides, if we beat City and draw with Chelsea, then its back in City's own hands. Which is mad.
Bootle Buck Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Not sure we can discount Chelsea so easily.Besides, if we beat City and draw with Chelsea, then its back in City's own hands. Which is mad. Crystal Palace might be a tough game. That tight little pitch may not suit our style. Think City will lose to Everton but not sure Chelsea will have any other slip up so we will have to t*** them too.
Dan Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 (edited) That's right, come ed, let's see yer... Let's scrap this feckin thing out! Is right. This is the big one. f***ing come on redmen! Edited April 6, 2014 by Dan
psl Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Chance to open a 7 point gap, shirley a win, wins it - JFW It would certainly help but it would still only give us 1 point breathing space if they win their games in hand. Plus they already have superior goal difference and will improve that further with their two games to play. And then there is Chelsea who could still win it, or certainly f*** us over. Win the next 3 and then assess...
David Hodgson Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Atmosphere will surely be immense. Chelsea '05 type stuff. Better had be or I'm having words. I won't be there. On me jollies. #barli
aka Dus Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Afeared. Vincent Kompany: Liverpool the best team Man City have playedManchester City captain Vincent Kompany says title rivals Liverpool are the best team they have played this season. Second-placed Liverpool are a point ahead of City in the Premier League and the sides meet at Anfield on 13 April. In their last meeting, at Etihad Stadium on Boxing Day, Kompany scored as City came from behind to win 2-1. "They are the strongest team we have played this season," Belgium international Kompany, 27, said on Match of the Day. "They have a great squad and they are not there by luck." Third-placed City beat Southampton 4-1 on Saturday, while Chelsea returned to the top of the table at Liverpool's expense with a 3-0 win over Stoke City later in the day. Liverpool travel to West Ham on Sunday, after which City will have two games in hand on both their title rivals. "We have different styles but the same philosophy of trying to score goals, so I think it will be an entertaining game," Kompany said of next weekend's trip to Anfield. "It's hard to predict because so much is at stake, but we remember the game we played at the Etihad and I'm not surprised at all [that they are challenging for the title]. "Our strongest part of the season when we won the league [in 2011-12] was when we had no other competitions to play in, and Liverpool have had that this season." Despite Chelsea's victory over Stoke, manager Jose Mourinho again dismissed their title chances, saying the table is "fake". But Kompany said: "If I was in Chelsea's position I would still believe. It's going to go to the wire."

drdooom Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 5 more wins to go. Remember back when we were at 7 more wins to go? That's where City are now.
psl Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 (edited) 5 more wins to go. Remember back when we were at 7 more wins to go? That's where City are now. And they have to go away to the two form teams in the division. Edited April 6, 2014 by psl
Falconhoof Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 5 more wins to go. Remember back when we were at 7 more wins to go? That's where City are now. 1 more win and we break the back of this.
Nate. Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 I think we beat City and the boost it'll give the players will be enough to do it.
