Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 hard not to play the same 11 Hopefully Arsenal will wake up late on Sat so we're really buzzing
psl Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Will be more open than last night. I imagine he will start Eriksen and Adebayor. The latter will try and bully our defence. But they play quite a high line and should struggle with us. I would play Sterling.
sean Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 I think Sterling will play, in order to attack the spaces Spurs tend to leave behind their defensive line.
Stevie H Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 spurs mate reckons that bentaleb is sherwood's blue-eyed boy and will start at the expense of both capoue and paulinho alongside sandro. lennon and chadli either side of eriksen with adebayor up top. and yep, high line is a given.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 I think Sterling will play, in order to attack the spaces Spurs tend to leave behind their defensive line.Agree - he's made for this game
baz2107 Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Sakho in for Agger please. Sterling need to play because of pace behind, maybe similar set up to Everton/Arsenal with Allen missing out. Coutinho doesn't deserve to, and he will pick passes behind that high line
Walrus Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 I think Sterling will play, in order to attack the spaces Spurs tend to leave behind their defensive line.He had a field day against the at WHL too.
Dan Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Ugh. Been dreading this game for a few weeks now - not sure why but I've a feeling we're dropping points here.
D.Boon Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Adebayor v Skrtel and Agger from set pieces isnt going to be pretty.
SkippyjonJones Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Ugh. Been dreading this game for a few weeks now - not sure why but I've a feeling we're dropping points here.spurs - scored 40 conceded 40. us - goal difference +45 spurs - 7 points out of the last 6 away games. we want this lot at anfield. anyone. the self belief is running high and its time we put someone to the sword at home. again.

I know, I know. Just has a feeling of the Arshavin game from '09. Adebayor might be out injured anyway, which would be a bonus.
SkippyjonJones Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 the only game I'd dread right now is Everton away - they have a great home record at the moment and they'd be right up for us... but we are done with that one now.. Nobody wants to plays us right now. We are Liverpool.
Gunga Din Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 the only game I'd dread right now is Everton away - they have a great home record at the moment and they'd be right up for us... but we are done with that one now.. Nobody wants to plays us right now. We are Liverpool. this is it. we're the form side. no one fancies playing us at the minute, the media love in with Sturridge and Suarez has most of the defences we face s***ting themselves before they get on the pitch.
Maldini Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 spurs mate reckons that bentaleb is sherwood's blue-eyed boy and will start at the expense of both capoue and paulinho alongside sandro. lennon and chadli either side of eriksen with adebayor up top. and yep, high line is a given. I've been hugely impressed with Bentaleb. For some reason I've seen a lot of Spurs over the past couple of months and he's been their best player nearly every time I've seen them. Good range of passing, gets around the pitch well and wins back the ball a fair bit. Don't know how Dembele is still getting on the pitch for them, he does nothing, he's a complete show pony. Capoue has been good when he has played as well, Sherwood doesn't seem to fancy him though.
The_Adder Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Sterling in for Allen for the home games for me - go at them. Allen to come on later to keep the ball etc. Thought we missed Sterling last night, I don't think we really need four CMs at home and thought this is one of the reasons why we struggled to open them up. Would start Sakho against Adeybayor too, perfect game for him.
downunder Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 I would consider playing Lucas and Sakho. He certainly needs to make a few changes, we can't rely on the same 12 or 13 every game.
Maldini Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 When does the yellow card amnesty start for Gerrard?
Walrus Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 When does the yellow card amnesty start for Gerrard?3 more games.
David Hodgson Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 (edited) When does the yellow card amnesty start for Gerrard? After the city game. He has to get through 3 more games without a booking. Edited March 27, 2014 by David Hodgson
