RP Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Just for a bit of fun ... with 8 games left let's see what people actually think we'll do in each game between now and May 11. Just give a "win", "lose" or "draw" for each game (from LFC's perspective) - also your predictions for the actual scorelines in the Man City & Chelsea games (to act as a kind of tie breaker between those who go for 8 straight wins, if you like ) For each result (w/l/d) you get right, you get 3 points. For the tiebreaker, the City and Chelsea scorelines: 2 points if you get our score right, 2 points if you get the oppo's score right ... and a bonus of an additional 2 points if you get the match score (i.e. both team's score) right. So there is a maximum of 30 points to win. I'll kick-off: Sunderland WSpurs WWest Ham DMan City W 1-0Norwich W Chelsea W 2-1Crystal Palace DNewcastle W Here are the fixtures if you want an easier copy/paste: SunderlandSpursWest HamMan CityNorwichChelseaCrystal PalaceNewcastle Anyone wanna play??

David Hodgson Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 (edited) I'm not predicting anything specific results wise but I'll say that we'll win the league if we win 6 and draw 2, just so long as one of the wins is over Chelsea. Edited March 24, 2014 by David Hodgson
The_Adder Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Everytime I predict our games we get beat, so I am swerving this. We 100% need to beat Chelsea with their run in and basically win every game if we are going to win it. Man City have to go away to the mancs, arsenal, us and everton yet - cant see them winning it, fixtures favour Chelsea on paper, but a single slip by city and it is in our hands.
RP Posted March 24, 2014 Author Posted March 24, 2014 Everytime I predict our games we get beat, so I am swerving this. You can't have predicted many of our games then.
The_Adder Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 You can't have predicted many of our games then. Not this season no, which obviously is the main reason we are winning, basically I am more important than Rodgers, Suarez, Gerrard, Sturridge and the team, so be nice to me.

Mike Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 You go doolally if you start doing this, I don't recommend it. You can only focus on our next game which thankfully Rodgers is and he isn't saying anything daft to the media. In the end the games run out and the rest takes care of itself.

SkippyjonJones Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Sunderland win. don't look any further. RP you're a bad un for doing this.,..
sean Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 One game at a time. Our next game is against Man City at Old Trafford, tomorrow night.
RP Posted March 24, 2014 Author Posted March 24, 2014 Totally agree with the "one game at a time" mantra ... for Manager and players. Don't see any logic in applying that to fans though. Sunderland win. I hope they don't.
SkippyjonJones Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 a sunderland win against Man city and Chelsea in april. after a good tonking from us. better...
RP Posted March 24, 2014 Author Posted March 24, 2014 a sunderland win against Man city and Chelsea in april. after a good tonking from us. better... I knew you wanted to play really
SkippyjonJones Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 I knew you wanted to play really :D/>I'm not predicting any of our results beyond the next one. I don't care about doing that for anyone else... be a nice chance for Borini to go a bit mad in april...
